In the
Victorian era(A.D.1840),Anna Maria Russell,Duchess of Dedford,felt
bored and hungry before dinner,so she asked her maid to prepare some bread and
tea.To her surprise,this culture not only spread among upper classes but also
the whole world until now.
★Characteristic
1.It often takes place in
14:00~17:00.
2.Be dressed normally to
participate.
3.Assam(阿薩姆茶) and Ceylon(鍻蘭茶) taste thick
and should brew for 3~5 minutes and go with milk.
Darjeeling(大吉嶺茶) and Earl
Grey(伯爵茶)
taste thin and should brew for 2~3 minutes and go with lemon and honey.

Normally,It is piled
up in the form of Three-Tier Petit Four Stand(三層架).
At the bottom layer, there are
various flavors of sandwiches.
At the middle
layer, it is occupied by England
traditional snack,scone(司康).
At the top,it involves cakes
and pastries.
The order to consume these
delicious snacks is from bottom to top,from salty food to sweety food,and from
thin ones to thick ones.
